Can't remember if you like caramel or not. It's toffee ice cream with caramel and little caramel filled chocolate cups. Kinda sweet, but good in small doses.

Oh my!!! I love caramel!!! And toffee!!! And chocolate!!!! WANT!!! LARGE DOSES!!!

It's a brand made in Maine...so probably can't get it down there.

But I'm happy to share! ;-)

Do you like the uniforms the stooges wear?

You mean with the sashes? Those actually look like they're modelled on traditional Chinese Mandarin robes--very similar outfits are worn in Kung Fu. Then Dr. T's outfit that he dresses up in during that song number has that big Turkish/Austrian-looking hat, which I've also noticed in several Dr. Seuss books. I'm starting to wonder if Dr. Seuss did a lot of research on clothes--maybe a little too much, if you catch my drift--Dr. T got a little carried away about his wardrobe during that song :-) Anyway, it's a very cool movie--I'd go so far as to say I'd put it on my list of favorite kids' movies up there with Wizard of Oz (which it reminds me of) and a few others. Makes me want to go rewatch some Dr. Seuss cartoons. Did Seuss do any other live-action movies like that?

So far as I know, that's the only live-action movie he ever did. Maybe Hollywood felt the world couldn't handle another?

BTW, you may or may not know that Mr. Zabladowski and Bart's mother were actually married in real life. You can definitely see the chemistry there. ;-)

I dunno...I love 'em...but I'm starting to get a bit bored with them. I feel compelled to eat them, because I invested so much into them!

'Sides...Steve's on the diet, not me! :-D

Poor guy! You expect him to hold to a low carb diet when you're munching bagels in front of him?

I've always found it amusing that annual salary actions are always effective in the April First pay period every year. Yah know... if it were me... I'd move it up or back a week.

I don't do it in front of HIM!! How long have we been friends???

I did have a hamburger in front of him tonight, as did the boys. He had a hamburger, but with a flaxseed bun I made...very low carb.

But I would NEVER snack on say, ice cream or cake in front of him. Or bake a big ol' thing of cookies with hime right there. I have plenty of time to do those things when he's at work!

I also still serve the boys toast and rice and couscous at dinner...I eat a little too. He just skips it. I make it so he doesn't mind! He gets so much food he can't eat it all.

I could see that :) I also think I've seen Mr. Zabladowski in another movie--what was that actor's name?

My Flaxseed Hamburger "Buns"

1/4 Cup Flaxseed Meal ...... ?g Carbs
1/8 tsp Onion Powder ....... .2g Carbs
1/8 tsp Baking Powder ...... .3g Carbs
1 packet Splenda ............. .9g Carbs
1/8 tsp salt .........................0g Carbs
2 tbsp hvy cream (1oz) ..... .8g Carbs
2 Large Eggs ............... 1.2g Carbs
1/2 tbsp sunflower seeds ... .4g Carbs

I chop the sunflower seeds up coursely in a little food processor. Then add the two eggs and cream, whirr that up good. In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients, mixing well. Add the egg, cream and sunflower mixture to the dry ingredients, stir well. Fry like a pancake in a lightly oiled skillet. Monitor it with a pancake turner...you can't tell when to turn it just by looking in my experience.

The batter seemed to do better after it sat for a few minutes...raised more when I cooked it. Makes three average-size pancakes.

I'm showing it at 3.8 carbs right now, not including the Flaxseed meal which is confusing me...I've heard differing values for it, ie seeds have one value, meal has another per tablespoon.

Think they're tryin' to prove a point with it at this date? You're not feelin' like you fit the profile are ya? ;-)

All will be well.

Except for the fact that you can't get those back scratches in person right now.
