As long as I get there, I don't mind how long it takes. Within reason, of course...I don't want to have to start over!
I think I may at least repeat week 5 day 2 for a couple more times...may try the long run next Wednesday - at least take a stab at it. And if I'm able to do it...repeat on Friday before trying week 6 the week after.

Our goal at this point is August, right? Should give us time for repeats, if necessary.

Maybe there will be lurkers there.... standing around on the fringes.... not saying anything.
"Arre you with the bride or the groom?" "Oh, I am a lurker." "Ah, back over in that corner then. No don't bother to sign the guest book." "Do I get one of those program thingies?" "Hahaha... no."
To: JenB
Yeah...probably late August is where I'm aiming!
And even that could be pushed out somewhat. I want to finish the running program by then, but don't necessarily expect to meet my other goals by then.

Hi there. Fixing to head off to work... yet another day without internet and email. LOL
Saw your post to me yesterday about that never happening where you are. Ya see, this is what happens when you have a woman in a management position who knows nothing but thinks she knows everything. She tries to "fix" something the way she wants it when the guy who really does know how things work is on vacation. Even though the guy who knows how it works has been telling her this won't work for 2 years. The "fix" takes everything down.
And the truth is, the guy who knows the system is actually on vacation in Colorado AND interviewing for a new job while vacationing. :-)
He would be doing that because his manager, who knows little, is a pain to work for, and incidentally knows zero-zilch-nada about how things really work. So, now, the system has been down for an unknown number of days because this all happened while all of us were on spring break. I think I may be the first to know if it's ever going to start working again because the guy who really knows how it works borrowed my kayak for his trip to Colorado. He's returning it this weekend before he returns to work next Monday. I may know then if he is leaving us - or returning to get our system up and running again. Till then... I only freep at home! LOL
Oh, by the way, I'm LMAO at this.... that woman has it coming.

Good morning!
Drinking this worthless coffee that is secretly half decaf...'cause I'm too lazy to brew a real pot. I worried all day yesterday about Steve...thinking he might get a headache or something. Nope! Came in with a spring in his step and a cheerful attitude at around 8pm.
Gosh, he's doing GREAT!
I found a "bread" he can eat. It's actually a flaxseed pancake and I can make it with cinnamon for breakfast or with onion powder to make like a hamburger bun.

I've seen it happen. Monitors bursting into flames. I hate that.
Me too. My boss's suite used to have a long, narrow office that we called the "bowling alley". My desk and computer were at one end, and the part-time intern's computer at the other. I was working away one day and thought I smelled hot electrical components - examined my computer very carefully and found nothing, so went back to working away. Heard a crackling noise, looked around, and flames were shooting two feet high out of the back of the intern's monitor. I came out of my chair like a shot roaring FIRE!, leaped across the room, grabbed the monitor, and started dragging it towards the door towards the fire extinguisher just outside our office. I flung it into the middle of the hall floor, grabbed the fire extinguisher, and was just about to hose the thing down when I realized it was no longer burning.
Heads popped out of doors all the way down the hall like prairie dogs.

I haven't found any of the low carb breads that are really good.... most taste like a roofing shingle.

Hmm...maybe your subconscious is tryin' to tell you something? ;-)
I dreamed something really nice while between snoozes...but I can't remember what! Just remember being happy about something.

This is a pancake you make yourself from flaxseed...it's pretty good...if you like a buckwheat pancakes, which we all do. That's what they remind me of.
1/4 cup ground flax seeds
1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch of baking powder
1 pack Splenda (I used a regular old spoonful...not a tablespoon or a
measuring teaspoon...just a plain slightly rounded spoonful)
pinch of salt
2 T cream or water
2 eggs
butter to fry in
mix well and cook in butter like a pancake...
I'm thinking of replacing the cinnamon with onion powder like I said, and possibly some coursely chopped sunflower seeds and whole flaxseed to give it a bit more texture. It has pancake texture as is...
