Hey, I like that 27 thing..
I came home from work Friday and D and his buds had a full blown barbecue party going on the back deck. They brought all the meat, shrimp, chips and soda, and did all the cooking. I just sat back a watched. They wouldn't let me in the kitchen. Much fun. I did manage to get a salad made up, course those guys didn't think of a salad, lol. Still have 10 lbs of meat in the fridge from it too.
I've had company all week last week and all weekend. Rachel went home yesterday, after church, and that was the last of it. Whew. It was nice though.

hehehe... that does sound like fun!
I could eat some of that meat for ya!!! Know you don't care for it as much as I do. LOL
I have been 27 since 1993 when Myranda decided that I was 27 forever! She had a rational for it which isn't really comprehendable unless you were there at that time in my life. But, to some folks who remember that, I will *always* be 27!!!

Still have Dwight in my head. I sprang for his 2 DVDs.. Following my philosophy of music/poetry is sometimes the most important thing in life. Purchaseable thing anyway. The kids are gagging at me, all except D's one friend Zack, and he's seeming to enjoy it ok. Not complaining. I'm still constructing the whole explanation in my head. Almost finished, and just looking for a little time to do it. :) I'm a very happy gal right now. :)

hehehe... I can see that *Dwight* has taken you! :-)

Below is the text and photos that Steve sent to me to post.
Here are some pics to post. Can you send me an e-mail telling me how to do it. In the mean time can you post these. They are of our favorite hangout and the workers inside the coffee shop. I'd send more, but they will fill up your mailbox. Let me know
when these are posted and I will send more. Love Steve

Thanks for posting the pics! Neat to see a window into life over there.
Continue to stay safe smaagee, we support your efforts over there!
ecurbh - we should add all these in the last day or two to the THH.net troop stuff...

It was our way of being able to include everyone at least in a cyber-way if they can't come out.... I hope we get it set up so it actually ~works~ on the webcam!

Well, I called the corporate offices of both CRKT and Smoky Mountain today. From the silence I got after explaining my case, I could tell there was an open-mouthed, blank expression on the other end of both calls.
BUT it was not all in vain. The woman at Smoky mentioned there were five knives left in stock. That's why I couldn't but 12. So I rushed to the site, ordered five, AND GOT THEM!!!!
Then, as a test, I tried to order ONE, and it came back "temporarily (yeah, right), out of stock". So at least I have the satisfaction of sqeezing out the last five knives from Smoky. That brings our total for that model to 146.
Other sites still carry that knife, but at a much higher price. I'll just have to keep an eye out for good prices for it, along with whatever "substitute standard" HHD knives we adopt.

Below is the letter I just sent to Steve. I have deliberately added some spaces here so the pic won't show, If someone can explain it to him in an easier way, please do. First you have to have a "host" web site. That's why I have an account at photoisland. To access it go to: http:www.photoisland.com Sign in name is graybeard58 pass word is ******. Post the pictures there first. Open the pic you want to post at free republic, then at the lower left of the page you will see "link for auction", click that, click high light text, then control + C on your key board. (That copies what you high lighted) Take what you just copied and insert it between the = sign and the > sign in the following
![]()
It will look something like this

Then add parenthetical marks between the = sign and http also add parenthetical marks between jpg and > For multiple pics just repeat the process being sure to click enter twice between postings so the pics will space. you can add text above or below the pics, use
to seperate text from pics. To practice use your yahoo email to send them to your self, just check the box at the bottom of the "compose" page that says "allow HTML tags" Maybe someone at FR can explain it simplier than I can - I'll ask. Love always The Dad.
To: Graybeard58
As a matter of fact it won't look anything like that. it didnt show everything I sent to him but is there a simplier way to explain it? He has access to photoisland now.
To: Graybeard58; smaagee
It is hard to explain in html so that it won't show up here when you type it!
Smaagee, Once you have the URL address for the picture (right click the pic and copy the properties) the html code is exactly this:
<IMG SRC="paste the URL here">

CONGRATULATIONS!!! :-) So nice to see the official invitation :)

Makes this happen:

Right click him and copy the properties if you want to try it. All pictures will load the same way, just need the web adddress for them. Some linking sites are more stable than others, which is why after a little while you might get the red x on what was originally a good link.

Thank you very much Fedora!
