Yes, and elf-boy has definite wizard tendencies (and dwarf tendencies too. I cannot figure out *where* he comes by those...)

I saw that post and chose to ignore it. You and I both know that Elijah would not be thrown out of bed for eating crackers! Besides, he's all mine now that you're getting married and all! *grinning wickedly*

Tolkien terms please... your similarities to Master Corin make me think a bit of Dwarves, but not quite.I probably got some Dwarvish blood on my Norwegian side, but I'm mostly Elvish on my Irish side, and my build is more Elvish than Dwarvish--plus I use a bow like Legolas. . .but I also have Hobbitish traits like a paradoxical love of simple things combined with a Tookish incination towards adventures--so maybe I'm a Middle-Earth mutt--hmmm, might have to think about this. . .

Val Kilmer's a good choice for Bond, IMO - his role in "The Saint" was somewhat similar. (But cooler than Bond!)
What about someone who doesn't always do action parts? Like the guy who played the president in Independence Day.

Ask yourself where in Middle Earth you would live. That will help!

So you're a Harfoot? Which branch? :) And do you live near the Misty Mountains or closer to Weathertop? :)
To: Fedora
Because the guy doesn't see it coming.
That's what I call it, anyway.

The Misty Mountains, of course. How else could I keep my Dwarves fed properly?

Don't watch Everybody Loves Raymond. But I do know enough not to mention such things to a woman during the event in question--have seen what happens to men who make that mistake, RIP :)

Mel Gibson's got certain aspects of it, but comes with too many associations from previous movies, and his personality doesn't quite fit. Too tan, rugged. And (sorry ladies) too short.
Hmmm. . .Maybe Val Kilmer?--if he wasn't so hard to work with on the set.
I think Bond really does need to be at least somewhat British.

Yeah, he did well in
The Saint, and also
Top Secret.
I didn't see Independence Day, though. Who was the actor?

Evening G'nad, mrsnad & family, very glad we logged on tonight, thegirl displays fine form. We expect to see her cutting cloverleafs in no time and a "robinhood" arrow shortly thereafter. We are glad that she likes it; archery is fine hobby for all ages.

That is a FINE looking bow. I'm actually getting a little misty-eyed on the care and craftsmanship that I know must've gone into that. [snif]
Do you have to pay extra to get adorable kids like that... or they just come with the package?
I'm chucklin' about the PE class. OHDEARGOD... those poor kids probly never knew what was headed at 'em today. :-)
A class act, as always, Major... :-)
To: Fedora
Um... possibly Bill Pullman?
You should see Independence Day. Good explosions.

Ask yourself where in Middle Earth you would live. That will help!Definitely in the Shire--probably close to the Old Forest, though--I could be Tom Bombadil! :)
