Okay--aprons evidently are optional :) I guess the bacon grease must not hurt that bad then?--I could see potential owies there :)
Well, it is important not to be on a schedule Fedora. If you're on a schedule then it looks like it's not spontaneous and that's bad! LOL
I am just doubled over laughin' here at your questions! :-)
msdrby and I are gonna write a book for you!
Always at least *pretend* anything is spontaneous - except the normal everyday holidays - like Valentines and Birthdays... can't forget those - and anniversaries!!!
LOL GMTA!!!
That sounds right. What's too often, though?--see, this is the problem I have: I tend to spoil people and sometimes I think I overdo it and it backfires on me. That's one reason I'm asking the question--trying to figure out how that works.
You're gettin' all this information from a woman with tattoos covering several square inches of her body. owies? Bacon grease is no owie. LOL
On second thought, are you sure you wanna be askin' me these things?
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are the best! :) BTW, I think the guy version of that is snacks with salt in it.
Hmm--that might be what my problem is--very interesting.

Please do! I'm all ears! :)

ROFL! I guess I'm still pondering the logistics of Ramius' objection :)
Just a second... I'll freepmail you my phone number! :-D
Too often is when *she* starts to not appreciate it anymore! When *she* starts to expect things like that because you always do it - then it is too often.
I dunno. My last husband was really good at this. He shoulda wrote the book for you. Sometimes it would be several weeks between surprises... and then sometimes there were a lot of surprises all at the same time. And "no" they didn't coincide with arguments or anything he was up to that I caught him at. I think it had more to do with his budget and when he got good ideas. He always sent cool unique stuff. I never in 9 years got a dozen red roses in one of those normal green vases. I wouldn't have minded - I'd have liked that too but I always got *at least* 13 roses - most of the time white ones cause they are my favorites - but no matter the color or type of flowers he sent there was *always* without fail one red rose in the bunch. I got lots of flowers. I like flowers. But, I also grow fragrant herbs and sometimes he would find some herb that I'd been searching all over for and just completely baffle me with it.
I know. I'm sittin' here talkin' about all this chocolate and wonderin' why I'm going on about it. I *only* really want chocolate - uh - you know - about once a month! I usually sit here and eat chip and salsa, queso or guacamole! That's my real weakness. Still, it's pretty awesome to get the special kind of chocolate that you really like from *your* guy!
Okay, I went on for a long time about flowers. But, I gotta tell ya something else about giving wimmin flowers. Well, a lot of women *say* they don't want flowers cause they cost too much and die. I do *not* suffer from that brain disease. But, during the times when wildflowers are blooming, I used to frequently get bouquets of wild flowers. Sometimes when I got home. Sometimes at lunch. Sometimes they'd be waiting on my car seat when I got off work. And often in the spring Dennis would just stop the car while we were driving down the farm road to our house and get out and pick me flowers. You don't have to *pay* for the flowers for them to *work* for ya!
LOL! :)

Yep, that's my usual problem.

Hmmm--sounds like he was good at doing it regularly but still off-schedule enough to be surprising?
Yep. I remember that one too! Yikes! I did get that in the way more than once!!!
Yep, I like chips and salsa--esp. very hot salsa :)
Still, it's pretty awesome to get the special kind of chocolate that you really like from *your* guy!

Now that's a very economical thing to know! :) BTW, what is it about flowers, anyway? The chocolate makes sense to me, but what is it about getting flowers that a woman likes?
Vey cool--he must like that :)
You can listen to us all you want. But, every person is different still in their likes and dislikes. You have to determine what *special* things really float her boat. I dunno, it seems like most guys just go with kinda "stock" items. But, if you pay attention to little things that she likes, you can really get a lot of mileage out of little things. And I'm not saying this to try to sound trite... like big things aren't good sometimes. But, it's the little things and little surprises that get you through some tough times.
I am never sure if I was married to one of the most romantic guys to ever live or if we were just enough alike that he knew what to get and what to do for me. He always knew the little things that would just tickle me pink. Big dangly earrings. Malachite. Silk stuff. But, some of the stuff not every female would like... oh, yeah, stuff for my bike, AND NASCAR tickets! He had me down pat.
But my uncle is like that with my aunt too. She's nuts about teddy bears. He can pick up a $2 teddy bear and bring it home to her and you'd think she had a 6 karat diamond!!!
