Anything you can do, Orcs can do better.
Orcs can do any thing better than you.
No they can't.
Yes we can.
No they can't.
Yes we can.
No they can't.
Yes we can, yes we can!

If a Jerry Springer musical can be made so can LOTR.

The £8m production will see dozens of actors portray hobbits, elves, wizards and orcs in complex battle scenes. When the show makes it to Broadway, I'm sure they will include lots of fairies too.

I Can Make You A Hobbit
A weakling weighing ninety-eight pounds
Will get sand in his face
When kicked to the ground
And soon in the gym
With a determined chin
The sweat from his pores
As he works for his cause
Will make him glisten
And gleam, and with massage
And just a little bit of steam
He'll be pink and quite clean
He'll be a strong Hobbit
Oh, honey!

Oh no....is there anything worse in the history of musical theatre than a British production?

Been done:
One More With Hobbits.
Some friends rewrote the lyrics to the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" musical episode songs, so that they're now the story of the Lord of the Rings. And the results are hilarious. The lyrics are all available at the above site, along with MP3 files of two of the songs actually being performed (more to be added as they have time).
The title is a play on the name of the "Buffy" musical episode, which was titled "One More With Feeling".

The show, to open next year, would last a mammoth three and a half hours, Wallace said. What's mammoth about a 3.5 hour musical compared to the movies?
