it's on the left side of his face, not quite on the nose...it's about the size of a pencil eraser...Two Flight Surgeons confirmed it was a basal cell, which is good news...it just needs to be cut out and they want a plastic surgeon to do it...but most ENT's are trained a little in plastic surgery and there might be an ENT at the CSHospital...he'll see another surgeon at 1pm..4am my time.

Have him let the plastic surgeon....Even with an excellent Dr. there is still a small scar....Your are both in prayers....but will increase the frequency.

We pray for the surgeons who will attend him, that they will remove every cell of the cancer, that no infection will be present, that there will be no complications and that complete healing will take place. Give him peace as he goes through this and return him quickly to the leadership role he enjoys. Give peace to his family who wait. We pray in the strong name of Jesus, Amen...

Sorry to be so tardy - I've been laid up with extensive dental work; homemom tattled on you.
My brother-in-law - retired USAF - just had the same surgical procedure, and then they used plastic surgery. Very successful. Just saw him a month ago and I could not even tell he'd had surgery. I had to ask him and even then it was difficult to see. It was amazing.
God is watching over Mike, and I'm sure Mike will be just fine.
