Dear Metz,
I am Mr.Babatunde Douglas an accountant with one of the reputable banks in Nigeria. I am also an accounts officer to late Mr. Johnson Metz, a national of your country, who was a contractor with Shell Development Company in Nigeria. On the 1st of April 2001,Mr.Johnson, his wife and their two Children were involved in a car accident along Sagamu express road. All occupants of the vehicle unfortunately lost their lives. Since then we have been trying to locate any of Mr. Johnsonâs extended relatives, but this has also proved unsuccessful.
After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to track his similar name over the Internet, to locate any member of his family hence this mail to you. I have contacted you to assist in repatriating the money left behind by Mr. Johnson before they get confiscated or declared unserviceable by my bank.
Since we have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over 2 years now. I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin to the deceased since you have similar name with him so that the proceeds of this account valued at 15.5million U S Dollars can be paid to you and then you and me can share the money. 60% to me and 40% for you. All I require is your honest cooperation to enable us seeing this deal through. I guarantee that this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law. As soon as I hear from you I will detail you on the process of the transaction.
You may reply me via this e-mail account or my private mail: babatunde100@workmail.co.za
Best regards,
Babatunde.

"60% to me and 40% for you."HA!
Now if the Babatunde baffoon is really serious about cashing in on this type of scam, he's just got to learn more about Americans by appealing to the dynamic duo of "greed" *&* "stupidity."
Meaning the first thing he's got to get straight?
...he gets the 40%. :o)

You can have some fun with this clown if you play your cards right. There is a web site that outlines how one guy from England strung one of thes guys along for months on a simular scam. I wish I could remember what the site is.
