I get 80 junk mails a day sometimes. I hate them. they have random titles and names nowadays.

I figure that we must be on DirtyUnderwear's "most hated Freeper" list since those emails and PINGs go out to a list of FReepers.

Yeah. I went to bed last night (my part of Australia is 18 hours ahead of the West Coast of the US), wake up this morning, log in to FR and not only am I pinged to a whole heap of threads I KNOW I didn't participate in, I've got a pile of mail in my mailbox from people I've never heard of! Each time I check the profile, "this account has been suspended or banned".

I immediately think to myself, "Whoah! I go to bed for eight hours, look what I miss!"

So I know how you feel, WO4TG.

My "spam" account receives about 15-20 a day, all have randomly generated "from" names and randomly generated words in the title.

It's the spammers attempt to get through filters that scan for gibberish titles, etc.

I've been fortunate to have not been spammed on FR yet

I use Outlook Express for my Email. Until a few months ago I seldom got any spam. Now I am starting to get several every day. OE, from what I can see, does not have a way to control it.
