All right, I've read that several FReepers have received FReepmail from trolls. I've never gotten any. What do I have to do? I've got a screen name that would offend most trolls. I'm a self- described troll hunter. Who knows? I may have even hunted down one of your accounts. I've even disrupted that website which shall remain nameless. What do I have to do?
TOPICS: Cheese, Moose, Sister; Chit/Chat; Conspiracy; Pets/Animals
KEYWORDS: freepmail; trolls
BTW, this is my 100th thread.

Dont you find this strangely unsatisfying? This would be like a wife having to tell her husband:
"OK, now dear, tomorrow is Valentines day (or our anniversary) and I want you to go to the store and buy me a dozen long-stemmed red roses, and a box of chocolates"
If you have to tell them, it kinda takes away the romance!!

My wife does that every time. She wouldn't have to, I'm pretty sure I could remember on my own, and I get sorta offended that she thinks she has to remind me.
But last weekend I got her good, I had been hiding some bonuses I earned and surprised her with a car on Valentine's Day (a minivan, exactly what she wanted, could have knocked her over with a feather). She got me a bag of Hershey's Kisses, I ate two of them. She ate the rest of them while I was at work today. Fair exchange, I guess.

Well one of the complaints I get is that I'm not romantic, but hey she knew that going in. I rarely do things that don't have a clearly defined purpose. Romance isn't something I was brought up to understand, I don't know quite how to interact in that way I guess. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm cold, but I'll admit to being somewhat calculating, or maybe a better word is pragmatic.
Her old car, though only 10 years old, was falling apart, and the minivan was used (though nowhere near beat up or worn out). I don't get the kind of bonuses it'd take to just pay cash for a new one, and the pragmatist in me is, at present, fiercely resisting the pressure to buy anything on credit if there's a reasonable alternative.

A single red or pink rose every once and a while would probably melt her. I know that would have been a heart warming gesture for my ex to have given me during our marriage.
One that is hand picked would be even better as that shows that you would take the time to pick it yourself instead of just buying one!!
