Evolution, by definition, takes millenia. It generally doesn't occur in such a short time frame as the 150 years since photography began to be used. The only time that a substantial change in a species would occur in such a short time span would be in the event of a massive disaster like a volcanic explosion destroying all available fauna, or the Everglades deer mentioned earlier.
However, if you want "proof" that evolution takes place, it would be simple to set up an experiment with a fast breeding species like fruit flies (used in every college biology course). With enough time and generations, you could probably develop fruit flies that eat meat, but it would take years and years. And I wouldn't want new pests at my picnic.

Human Beings. More precisely, Americans in the 21st Century.
The average size of Americans today is much greater than the size of humans 100 years ago. A visit to any museum, or visits by Americans to any third world country, will easily confirm this. This is a clear case of adaptation to evironment (plentiful food supply), suggesting that at least one hypothesis based on Darwin's theory is true.
Please verify, through rigorous scientific method, that the theory put forth in Genesis is the correct one. By this I mean that the order and timing of creation occurred as it says it did in Genesis.

so where are all the monkeys evolving into humans Why would chimps or gorillas evolve into humans? If anything, they'd evolve into more advanced versions of existing chimps or gorrillas that are better suited to their environment.
Your mistake is assuming that humans are the pinnacle of evolution. In reality, every species existing on the planet today, from cockroach to human, is the pinnacle of evolution.

This is for observation only.
The Vietnamese Boat People.
Entering our country in the 70's and later with young children in tow, the children's change in diet later caused higher than normal birth weights for the next generation born in the USA. As such, it was necessary for birth to be by C-section since their hip girdle was too small for the greater size of the babies.
It appears that the second and third generation born in the USA may now have larger hip girdles for passing larger babies and C-section is not as common.
Read about the first part around 1980 and more in the later 90's.

Thanks for your contribution (the third case) - dogs, that in only 10,000 years have changed/evoluted from WOLVES to CHIHUAHUAS.

This particular article opened my eyes to the possibility that the entire evolutionary theory may be based on nothing more than Alice chasing/falling down the rabbit hole. Oldest tactic in the book. If you can't beat a man's ideas, question the man's sanity. The Soviets used to do this all the time- dissidents were labelled 'crazy' and shipped off to sanitariums.

The snake
It has vestigal legs bones that have no function. The legs bones are an artifact of the predecessor species.

I understand what you mean (people of the same race getting taller), but the formulation isn't correct :
- human races have different average sizes (BTW, the natural habitat for the tallest and the smallest is not far from each other, in Africa), so
1 - you can't compare Americans (several races) to humans (several races)
2 - comparing Americans in the fifties to Americans now would have to consider the ethnic composition of the universum being compared

"Others, including Darwin's own wife, argued that his mental problem stemmed from guilt over his life's goal to refute the argument for God from design (Bean, 1978, p. 574; p. 28; Pasnau, 1990, p. 126).
Seems to me that she (his wife) would know more about this Theology student than you or anyone else posting here on FreeRepublic.
This also comports with what I know to be true of those who successfully deceive and lead many away from God's Word. The Hell they face doesn't wait for death to begin.
Poor Darwin. Poor lost Evolutionists. I pray for those who might yet be saved.

I think you are pointing out the same aspect as massadvj.
Basically the The Vietnamese Boat People got taller in average.

stemmed from guilt over his life's goal to refute the argument for God from design This was not Darwin's life goal. I'm not aware that Darwin had any desire to prove or disprove the existence of God.
People whose faith in God could be compromised by the theory of evolution don't have much faith to begin with.

Don't be an idiot. If you want to break it by race, use caucasians. Are you so blinded by your need to believe in fantasy that you cannot see evidence that is before your very eyes?
Even among the Amish, where I live in Central Pennsylvania, it is well known that today's generation is on average much larger than previous ones of 100 and 200 years ago. And this is a Germanic race of people in which there is very little cross-breeding with other races.
If this were to continue for 100 thousand years, you can imagine humans of the future the size of dinosaurs. There is so much evidence that genetics and environment interact that I am amazed that bull-headed idiots still attempt to convince us that evolution, or something very much like it, has somehow been discredited. To the contrary, the concepts of adaptation and survival of the fittest have been found to be nearly irrefutable. That is, everywhere but society, where we continue to prop up the least of us.

You obviously know
much more about Charlie Darwin than his wife
ever could, so we'll just believe you instead of her.
NOT!!!!
All kidding aside, your casual disregard for the dangers of being led astray by any form of deceit, including Darwinian deceit, is given lie by Jesus' own words.
He said, "Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the Mouth of God." [emphasis mine]
What did Jesus mean by "every word"? Did he mean "most words"? "Some words"?
My walk of faith has shown me that Jesus meant exactly what He said, and when He referred to every word, that was exactly what He meant.
To selectively believe in some parts of scripture, and then discard othe parts of God's Word, is to discard ALL of His Word.
One either believes, or one is led astray. Jesus also said, "You are either for me, or against me."
There is no middle ground. The ways to Hell are wide, and easily traveled, but the path [singular] to Salvation is narrow and difficlt.

No need to get furious over what I wrote!
As I reformulated ("people of the same race getting taller", exactly like what you say about the Amish) your evidence was the fourth to be suggested in this discussion.

I assume that this "predecessor species" you mention is extinct - there are no photos or films available.
So the question you raise (so called vestigial organs) is not in the scope of this thread. BTW, there are no such things as vestigial organs.

The average size of Americans today is much greater than the size of humans 100 years ago. Your point is correct, but your example is flawed. The changes in size among humans in the last century are attributable to improved diet.
A better example--unarguable to a creationist--is the genetic size difference between pygmies and bantus, which has ostensibly developed in the 4000-or-so years since Noah's flood.
