And I would love to see someone speak to the other demands of that Resolution every time WMDs are mentioned.

The problem is, as I see it, is that those who constanly harp on the WMD issue (usually by distorting what the President said, or reports have pointed out) don't want to face the realities of the situation (17 violated un resolutions be damned). The reason being is that they hate President Bush far more than they love this country...so much so in fact that they would prefer to see a terroist supporting, murderous dictator left in power, regardless of the dangers that would pose to America and the rest of the world.

People like this never let a little thing like the facts get in the way of their "preceptions".

Of course you're both right .... but the most distressing thing to me is the role the media plays in this. Though it has reached a low I never thought I would see, this kind of garbage from political opponents is bad enough. But when the media try to pass themselves off as objective (*choke*) and they promote the lies and distortions and rumors, too .....

Well, that's why I fear a corrupt media far more than I do the corrupt politicians.

Have I ever mentioned that I HATE THE MEDIA?

They are despicable, detestable, deplorable, dastardly, and deceitful ... on their good days.
