AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1115) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | February 10, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 02/10/2004 4:30:54 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

President Bush visited Missouri, on the heels of Criminal Party wannabees, and lashed out at the efforts of those who would deny making many of his tax cuts permanent. The marriage penalty reduction, for example, is set to expire next year and would result in a tax increase to many folks. The President is correctly characterizing the effort, predominately being carried on by Criminal Party members in Washington, as a potential tax increase on America.

United States intelligence has ascertained there are several training facilities in Pakistan for terrorists. After training, the terrorists are routed through Europe and on to the United States where they are joining sleeper cells, merely waiting for orders and money to carry out attacks on America.

For many of the soldiers serving in Iraq, the search for WMDs is secondary--they say that capturing Saddam has made going to war justified.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

sister ... thank you for asking, kayak ... she is doing fairly well ... not as troubled with neuropathy as she was. I do a lot of the cooking so I have been learning to make meals which are diabetic-friendly. b-i-l still on the road most of the week. I see this is another one of those "something good comes from something bad" .... she's been needing someone to be close to her and someone she feels comfortable letting them do for her .... and my nurturing genes are happy too. *grins*

lasting things

Yup.

I've been trying VERY HARD lately to dwell on those.

For instance.......

Does it matter if my daughter has to go to school another semester? She is so very close to the finish line of graduation.........what difference do a few more classes mean??? She is living on her own, she is growing in strength, she is making her mark in the world...........a bit awkardly, a bit confusedly, but it's HER mark..........she has good mind, and she is stretching it, and she is learning things about life they never taught in school.........these are the lasting things.........

Mom is coming for a visit this weekend.........my sister, several cousins, and an aunt are getting together with us for brunch.......renewing family relationships....we may never get another chance like this.....so we will go and enjoy each other's company......

When we visited our son two weeks ago I looked around at all of the young privates.....wondering how many of them would soon find themselves in a strange, frightening place........wondering what the future holds for my son, he of the vast heart & quirky mind......I held on to him VERY TIGHTLY when we said our good-byes, believe you me........hoping that his future holds merely an extended visit to Texas and several more years of sitting at a desk, learning the things they CAN teach you in school.

I'm glad you have a day off today. I wish I did too. We could maybe sit & have some crepes.......I think blueberry.....and look at the leaf-less maple trees, & at the ice sidewalks and snow-covered grass, and think about the day when it will ALL COME BACK TO US in shades of green, bursting with new life.

Morning all. It never rains, but it pours. My sister's vehicle broke down yesterday, and I'm without transportation myself for the foreseeable future. I'm losing a week's worth of income for the month, and my finances would be a joke, but I've not reached the punch line. Sigh.

I'll be glad when things return to something approximating normal.

On the positive side of the ledger... my grandson arrives tomorrow morning at 5:00am. Oh, and my eldest daughter will be with him.

/john

Heehee....nice of your daughter to "accompany" your grandson.;^)

I'll pray for your financial situation, Johnny, and lots of other stuff, too. You've certainly been having a rough time of it...........

That Grandchild is going to be some VERY Very Spoiled when you get done with him. Make every minute count,,, the daughter will immediately begin deprograming him when they begin their return trip.
