There was no kitty thread last week. I have plenty of excuses if you want to hear them. Lots of partying over the last two weeks in the Houston area. Chowdah heads from New England invaded Houston for the victory in the Super Bowl, and the H.A.T. FR Chapter celebrated their two-year anniversary. Time for this weeks kitty captions.
Here was the bouncer at the H.A.T. FR party - . Compliments of EggsAckley.

I dont drink alcohol; neither does my cat. Compliments of radu.

For those of us to do consume adult beverages, first round on me !!! Compliments of radu.

How Bout Them Super Bowl Champs !!! Compliments of sciencediet.

Kitty all partied out, or a new BIG kitty Zot picture. Compliments of AnAmericanMother.

We took DC and Trouble to the vet this morning. DC to have his ears checked more thoroughly, and Trouble to be neutered.
DC is definitely deaf. The doc says his ears are clear. We wanted to make sure that if we could have his ears fixed we would. But, it seems his deafness is neurological. Oh well, he is still the sweetest cat on the planet.
Trouble got his shots, and lived up to his name at the vets office. :-)
I'll have a photo of them both in the crate later today.

The strangest place I found my little one was in a freshly cleaned litter box. She was in cozy position, just sitting in there. Weirdo. Wish I had a picture.

Trouble and DC go to the vet...

We would let DC ride in the truck without the crate, but Trouble, well, would be trouble....

lol, how precious! If I was looking for the shoe and found that fluffy little doll in it I'd change shoes.

Poor babies!
Mine get their revenge when I put them in the carrier to go the vet. Let's put it this way - giving a stool sample to the vet is usually not a problem. But my car definitely needs some airing out after the ordeal.

What is it about cats rubbing their faces on the edges of shoes? Bubba has done that since he was little. It's a mystery to me.

Sleeping in a litter box, huh? I can't recall seeing a cat do that. But you did make me try to think of the strangest places. This is not the weirdest place I've found a cat, but it's a start.

Bubba is marking your shoes.
Maybe they know something we don't. Maybe toe suckers know more than we do. Are there lots of those pheromones in those shoes?
Water buffalo hide sandals I had once made the cats so crazy I had to get rid of them...the shoes.

Doesn't matter which of my four feisty female felines goes to the vet. If she gets out of the carrier she inevitably ends up under the gas pedal.

My "kitty-sitter" sent me a picture of Finbar being guarded by kitty bodyguards while he eats. I'll have to upload it and send you the link. :)

Can you find the cat in the tree?

Does Trouble hiss at the vet? One of my cats (Houston) hisses at and tries to bite the vet.
The other cat (Diamond) likes to throw-up in the carrier.
