Daytona Beach, FL - Want to enjoy a nice, relaxing week at Daytona International Speedway?
All it takes is two fast laps around the 2.5-mile trioval.
Forty-six drivers will hit the track Sunday, but only two will get the coveted prize -- a spot on the front row for the Daytona 500 on Feb. 15.
Those guys get what is akin to a bye week in the NFL playoffs. They'll have time to work on their race setup while everyone else is prepping for the twin 125-mile qualifying races Thursday -- which basically set the rest of the 43-car field for the Great American Race.

Tony's got the 125, then a provisional (it's too early to break out the changes in Provisional Land; I'll do that Thursday).
Kasey Kahne - 47.932 (5th of 16)

Harvick's blaming Rusty for his inability to win last night. Here, have a knuckle sandwich, Happy :-)

Once again Rusty shot himself in the foot by stalling the car in the pits last night...

Mikey is wishing it were still January when he was fast; he's just dropping spots like there's no tomorrow (48.058, 8th of 19)

He must have been thinking to get all the bad luck out of the way early. IMHO, if he doesn't win this year, it's time to retire.

Rusty was driving like a madman in the last 2-3 laps last night. I thought for sure he was going to crash, he wants a win so bad. He almost got penalized going into the pits in double file. He gets penalized more than anyone for speeding on pitrow also.
Now don't you guys go giving my Kevin a knuckle sandwich. I like him, he may be hotheaded but he has the drive to win. He's the perfect fit for that #29 car aka #3. Sometimes I think Earnhardt still rides in that car at times.

I think he got busted three times last year for speeding in the pits plus a couple of other juvenile blunders...

When you get nailed a couple times by the Pit Road Patrol, you know their VASCAR is going to be on you every time you come down pit road.
Did NBC put up that No BP Parking or did Fox?
