Beach tide question: Date is June 19... Wedding on dock with folk gathering around.... Heard about it? ;~D
At what level is the tide clear of the dock with enough dry beach? (at about 1-2 feet maybe?)
And about what time would we be there.
I would like to have the wedding early.... like 11:00 (or even 10) When will I have the beach to do it? Is High 11.4 at 5:45 am and it goes out to a -1.9 by 1:21 pm.

The tide hits the pilings at the top of the ramp, and the dock starts to float, at +5 feet.
Seems to me you'd want about 4 ft lower, about +1 feet or less, to get any dry sand in front of the dock.
I'll check the link you sent.

The tides on the 19th look ideal. 10am the dock will be on the beach and some sand in front but it will still be wet.
11 or 11:30 might the time to shoot for. There should be good dry sand, suitable for standing on, out in front of the dock, and probly about thirty feet of it. The tide will still be going out for more than an hour, but the height won't change much while it starts slack and changes directions.
Sounds good.
