Heh, no, nobody ever died from too much prayer!
Um, maybe you answered all this up thread, but since you have no about page - who are you? :-) Other than a literary kinda person, anyway.

I'm a bur--a hobbit! :) Well, I think I mentioned up the thread that 2jedismom invited me 'cause I noticed her quoting "Silmarillion" on another thread and I had to chime in :) But more generally speaking: First of all, I'm obviously a Tolkien fan--have been since about 1977 when I first caught the cartoon adaptation of "The Hobbit" while flipping through channels on TV. Apart from that: I'm Christian and have one of my degrees in theology; my other degree is in history, so combining those I have a great interest in the historical aspects of theology (which is what brought me to the thread I met 2jedismom on--I was reading one of blam's threads on ancient history); and I also minored in philosophy so that's another thing I'm interested in. I've been studying martial arts for 20 years and have taught that off and on. I currently work for one of my Kung Fu teachers who sells Chinese herbal remedies online, and I've written some stuff in that area. Prior to that I worked in word processing and technical writing. That's some basic stuff about me, I guess. How about you?
