Speaking of not working...

We're gonna exchange the set of game CDs that I couldn't load last night.

But I successfully loaded the other one. I did it under my account since I am the system administrator (one of them). It worked fine there. But wife and Luke tried to play it this a.m. and it wouldn't work. They went under my account (remind me to change the password again) and it worked.

Do I just need to go to Luke's account and adjust the settings to allow him access? We haven't had this problem with other games.

Also, must use secret language for the next one (We have a "need" to monitor Jr's email. He's currently set up with an admin account. Can I bypass his password from my account. I've got the option to change his password, but it tells me that would destroy all of his settings...)

sigh...

I know not the answers to this. But, I know the others you have pinged will. Hope remains while the fellowship is true.

Only thing I can think of for the game is that he may need write access to something in the game directory. If you do in as admin, go to the directory (in Program Files, I assume), right click on the directory and go to the Security tab, you can give the "Users" group read and modify access. That should be all it needs.

Not sure about the second question.
