[Lil'freeper]

Anyone hear from Lil'freeper lately?

You're sweet to think of me. Things have been all kinds of crazy. Big deadlines at work and I've been struggling to convince my scizophrenic management that I am not only competent but worthy of a promotion. I'm mentoring my mentor for heaven's sake. Oh how I despise politics.

But most importantly I'm flying home to AZ tomorrow. My father has taken a turn for the worse and will not likely live much longer. I need to be there for the end. As all of you who have lost parents understand, the grief is overwhelming. I won't be posting much in the next few weeks, but my family and I are profoundly grateful for your prayers and kind thoughts.

Prayers for a peaceful death for your Dad, Lil. I know that's what I pray for my Mama, whenever that comes.

RE: Lil'freeper and family

Just a note to let you all know that Lil'freeper flew home to be with her family. They were anticipating that her father would pass away shortly after her arrival, but everyone's prayers and the Good Lord's will proved otherwise. He is awake and speaking. It is likely he still will not be with us for long, but this is a wonderful gift for all of us that we will be able to spend a bit more time with her wonderful father. Thank you again for your prayers and support.
