If you made 'em at home, though, you could use better ingredients.

But yeah...chocolate malts are the BEST! There's a local ice cream place that makes their own ice cream, or did...now I think they get it from a place in Maine, but it's still fresh made, premium stuff. They charge something like $2.50 for a HUGH chocolate malt, with LOTS of malt. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! But they won't open until May. *snif*

The Shamrock Shake is actually the only McDonald's shake I like. The others are too thin. Not the same as a real maltshake--those are good :)
