I'm sure I'll insult someone here by saying so...but I *really* don't see the appeal of ferrets as pets. They look like weasels! And from what I've heard, most of them are never completely tame...you still have to watch out so you don't get bitten.
Cats are ornery at times, but at least they're attractive critters.

Dinner / lunch is almost done, and I went to the store and got Tension Tamer and honey. Two whole boxes! That way I can take one to work for emergency purposes...greedy me.

Ferrets *are* weasels. But they're more domestically prone than cats are, I think.
If your dog suddenly became ten times it's size you would still be the master and the dog would still be devoted to you at the expense of its own life.
If your cat suddenly became ten times it's size... you'd be lunch.

This was on a nature trail down in Olympia called McLane Nature Trail (not that far from where Hair and ecurbh live). I can't believe she took it here because the brush is so thick if it got away the only way she'd ever see it again is if my dog brought it back "less" than it was before!
