I'm in a pretty good mood, 2J, good morning.

Is your head spinning related to your ear thing?
Hope it goes away soon.

Heard last night that one of the guys' wives was having elective surgery done on her knee last week and things went wrong. Somehow the doctors managed to permanently screw up her vision while working on her knee. Apparently she suffered a loss of the lower third of her viewing field. Something to do with the anaesthetic, I believe.

Sometimes I wonder about hospitals.

That's right...vertigo related to whatever happened to my hearing right before Joshua was born. I always have some degree of it in the morning when I get up, some days it's hardly noticeable...I'd say most the time. But somedays it's a bit of an adventure to walk and there are the rare days when I feel very sick because of it. Fortunately, it passes pretty quickly.

I think it must relate to the way my head is during the night...I can't tilt my head backward, like to look up, without feeling a bit off.

I tell ya, Sam...I would never go under anesthesia without a very VERY good reason...that stuff is really dangerous. Just your body trying to recover in the "recovery room" is a major thing.

When my mom had her surgery (where they put everything back where it belongs, if you know what I mean)...they did a spinal. She was awake the whole time.

They can be dangerous places.

I have a prayer request. The husband of a friend who I haven't seen in a while was fired the day before yesterday from his job as a surgeon in a Boston hospital. He arrived for work drunk one day last week. Fortunately he did NOT operate that day, but they fired him(and rightfully so). I really feel bad for his family. He obviously needs help because he did this before at a local hospital a few years ago. I think this time they yanked his license.

So if you could remember him , my firend and their kids in your prayers I would really appreciate it. He needs to get a BDG, and so does she!
