Our Mayor here is staunchly opposed (to gay marriage). So while he has some issues, this isn't one of 'em.

For once in our lives, it proves to be better to have REAL problems like drive-by shootings and gang-drug-killings instead of wholly invented problems like gay divorces --oer-- I meant gay marriages. I never thought I'd be thanking God for the Hilltop district. :-)

No one's interested in the real problems anymore. But my phone is ringing off the hook all day from reporters who want to know when we're going to recognize gay marriages.

Today was the day to do something spectacularly bad...the press would never notice they're so wrapped up in this.
