We're going snow tubing today

I have never heard of that! And I have a mental picture from that name that has completely intrigued me. :-)

Sorry I didn't get to a hello and welcome home post when you got back yesterday. Had just awakened from a lovely nap and a girlfriend showed up for a night of movie watching and laughing. So, Welcome back... a day late.

Snow tubing is popular around these parts! It's great for those who value their knees and legs and don't want to get up on skis and go hurtling downhill. You can just sit on the tube and slide! Many ski resorts have tubing hills that have built in 'lanes' so folks stay in their areas and don't go smashing in to others. Tubes are just about as popular as sleds and toboggans.
