The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Hmmm. I could get a roast today (since I am NOT moving toward going to work) and eat on it all weekend.... Not a bad idea! Now, we'll see if I actually leave the house to do it!
I do need to go to Hobby Lobby for frames and stuff. I'm sorta gettin' started on my den project. Getting stuff more cleared out so I have a clean slate to make more computer desk space.

Grrrrr.....some equations look bold when I put them to 12 pt font. The only way I can get them to unbold is to take them down to 11 pt.....now they're not the same as the other equations. Can't I do this document in html?

I like listening to the radio race commentary. Those radio announcers have to provide the visual through audio and it's a lot better! So, if it's broadcast on radio I'll tune in to that and turn the TV sound down.

So, if it's broadcast on radio I'll tune in to that and turn the TV sound down.I tried that for a while but it was kind of disconcerting because the radio guys and the TV cameras weren't always describing the same action at the same time.
I meant turn down the race on the TV so I could listen to the ballgame on the 'puter.

Nah...I have to work til six o'clock every other Friday. Vic and I trade out so that we can leave at 4 on the other Fridays.

Yep... I knew you were talking about ballgames. I'm just pretty stuck on racing so I get a double dose between radio and TV. Nope, they don't stay together - but it helps. On my TV I can't always tell which driver it is in a situation. The TV announcers don't always let ya know till after the fact. Radio gets ya the facts.... even if delayed a bit too. I know, I'm *way* too intense about it!

Mmmmmm...beef...
Just called back a student who had a workorder open, and she picked up the phone and slammed it down. Not a drop, a slam - obviously didn't wanna talk to anyone.
I'm thinkin' maybe she doesn't need help, either. If she's gonna be rude...

Good morning!
I only have to work until four, but today is draaaaaagging.

Yuck. I mean, what else can one say? I wouldn't drink out of the fountains either (if I knew). Give you pause though...what do we endure that we
don't know?
Steve got sick once from drinking iced tea at a place where their sewer got into the drinking water. He was sick as a dog and only figured it out after he heard about it on the news.
He don't like to talk about it.
