The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

.the water here is BROWN from the tap for some reason. heh...the building I werked in at Quantico wuz new... they were werkin' on the water one time, and crossed the sewage (from 800 people that werked there) intuh the water fountains... three years later, people still don't drink outta the fountains... they pay fer water services outta their own pocket...

Well, at least it was their own sewage... Could have been from some other building.

We didn't get any snow... but they're still callin' for it in the forecast. Hope they're wrong.
I got up and showered to go to work.... but I think I missed cause when I got out of the shower I only managed to put on sweats and my warm cushy house-shoes.

Speaking of meat...I need to remember to run to the grocery and buy another pot roast while the prices are low! Sale ends tomorrow, I think. I hope I don't forget...
And I have a big chunk of the roast I made on Sunday leftover to make veggie soup or some such like tomorrow. Need to decide what to do with it...
To: Wneighbor
Just holin' up and soakin' it in? Yep. Pretty much. Going to have steak and baked potato. I can't decide whether to turn down the sound and listen to the ball game or just wait and play the Maryland game Sunday evening.

Hmmm. I could get a roast today (since I am NOT moving toward going to work) and eat on it all weekend.... Not a bad idea! Now, we'll see if I actually leave the house to do it!
I do need to go to Hobby Lobby for frames and stuff. I'm sorta gettin' started on my den project. Getting stuff more cleared out so I have a clean slate to make more computer desk space.
