Roger that. Gross.
But don't forget that after "Never Mind the Bullocks" there *wasn't* another punk band. :-) [wheez]

"I just don't really know the difference between - I don't even know any names to say, I don't know, about!" That reminds me of the famous Hemingway quote:
"A man,'Harry Morgan said, looking at them both. 'One man alone ain't got. No man alone now." He stopped. "No matter how a man alone ain't got no bloody f......g chance."

All right, what's the alphabet soup in the tagline? Not religon forum problems, I hope?

I kidnapped Jason from work today, we made lunch and tried to write a song

My first choice for Myranda was "Arwen." She'll tell ya. Her dad nixed that one!
I also thought about naming her Rainbow. He didn't like that either.
But, if she was a boy she mighta been named Thunder cause her dad just wouldn't work with me at all on any boy's names.

Oh dear. I'm compared to Hemingway.
(I always had a sneaking suspicion Hemingway was overrated, but what do I know? I know his style isn't mine, that's all...)

Not really problems. Just a statement.

And one I really shouldn't be making elsewhere.

Oh, dear... I hope you like your new Mod person. What a... well, courageous person...

So, how was the song? When I was there weekend before last he had 2 great songs he'd written that he played for me. He was trying to get me to do some lyrics but I just wasn't in that frame of mind. I kinda let him down I think.
Gee, nobody asked what song your name came from..... so I could tell 'em I wrote that one.

To: Corin Stormhands
At least it wasn't Summers Eve. That would be a horrendous name to put out there!

Thought her name came from Shakespeare.
Man, now I feel left out. My parents just named me because they liked the nickname! (Not the nickname I use now, btw...)
Oh, I guess I ought to head for bed. Did Rosie ever get in from whatever she was up to? Weather's nasty up her way...

Hemingway may be over rated by some, but I can definitly identify with and respect many things that he wrote, he had a good sense of humour, and a dry way of comunicating a certain amount of dry loneliness we can all identify with at time. (despite some of his leftist veiws)
To: Corin Stormhands
Reminds me of my high school Biology teacher, Mr. Baar. He wanted to name is new daughter "Candy".
He talked out of it... But not before we recommended "Crow".

I like dry, and I like humor. I just don't like Hemingway ;-)
I actually have a bit of reverse-snobbery when it comes to literature. Anything since, oh, 1900 that is acclaimed as great literature, I view skeptically... books are supposed to entertain me, you know... Hemingway and Steinbeck just don't do anything for me.
Heh, and this from a girl who really wants to be a writer.
