Anyone hear from Lil'freeper lately? You're sweet to think of me. Things have been all kinds of crazy. Big deadlines at work and I've been struggling to convince my scizophrenic management that I am not only competent but worthy of a promotion. I'm mentoring my mentor for heaven's sake. Oh how I despise politics.
But most importantly I'm flying home to AZ tomorrow. My father has taken a turn for the worse and will not likely live much longer. I need to be there for the end. As all of you who have lost parents understand, the grief is overwhelming. I won't be posting much in the next few weeks, but my family and I are profoundly grateful for your prayers and kind thoughts.

Sigh... just got done with the 'gym'... walked for twenty minutes. Actually ran for about five of those. I'm trying to build up stamina here. Then I showered and have a bowl of ice cream. Let the relaxation begin.

She's been a little stressed lately..... needed someplace quiet to relax.
Well, I'm back from church. I'm really feeling low today, and I suppose it's due to thinking too much about myself...usually that's how that goes. I miss my Mom so darn much some days...and then with the financial stuff lately on top of that, I want her more than ever...and now even the dog isn't behaving.
Just having a really rough day.
Did discover that apparently it's a good thing to take sinus medication if you're going to sob your eyes out. I don't have much of a headache. Serendipity strikes, I guess.
