The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

WOOOHOOO!! Had to stay up to 11:30 to see it, but AZ beat USC on a three-point buzzer beater. Wow!
Heh, now we have to play UW though.

Have you tried the Tangerine Orange Zinger?I've never seen it. We must not get all the flavors up this way...
But I can check at the natural foods store next time I'm there. They have a better selection.
I like Sleepytime once in awhile. Like that light touch of mint.

MMmmm... I love that stuff. But my favorite is still the plain old Red Zinger. I haven't had the Orange...but I loooove Red Zinger. Mom used to get that once in awhile as a treat for herself, so I grew up thinkin' it was pretty special stuff. And it's mighty tasty, too.

g'mornin' all... finally have a chance to sit down at the computer, but not fer long... gotta a VA appointment at thefort this mornin'...
teachin' the welding class went great... gas and MIG welding... I enjoyed the young men and the personality of the classes... made me think of young Marines... these guys were hard werkin' tough young men, who mostly came from less than stellar homes... I'm used to that...
Had a chance to to talk about Jesus to a couple of the guys when one young man mentioned he'd seen The Passion... they had no clue what it was about... I spelled it out fer them in about 10 minutes... I could see the gears turnin' in their heads... then one said "my dad says Christianity is for the weak." I immediately drilled him in the solar plexus, doubling him over and asked "do I look like a weakling to you?"... he gasped out "no sir" as he fell to his knees... then I helped him up, clapped him on the back and growled at him to get back to work...
btw, we field-dayed theshop... I doubt the teacher will recognize it this mornin'...
btw, did you know there's a FReeper here in Lebanon? Goes by hexpoppy... mrsnad met her yesterday to sell her some eggses... very nice lady...
osage, didn't get to the Post Office yesterday, will do so tuhday...
winmag: continued prayers that the PO didn't do somethin stoopid and can locate theknives...

Good luck with the VA appointment!
Nice to hear there are other FReepers in the area! Margaret is trying to convince some of us to move down there. Not really seriously, I don't think...but she was quite smitten with thegirl. Wants to give her fiddle lessons. ;-)

The way things are going here, I almost think I SHOULD start lookin' for land in a more conservative area. Eventually, anyway. And with MO being a bit milder but still having four seasons, it's certainly on my list.
I should get your mailing address...I think Margaret wanted to write to thegirl.
