The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

At Kells, they make a special art of wiggling the pint just as they shut off the tap... making a shamrock shape in the top of the head. It's a thing to behold, and I have yet to see anyone else be able to do it.That does sound like an art! I will have to see if anyone at the pubs around here knows how to do that :) And then there's the art of making a decent Shamrock Shake, which McDonald's has apparently abandoned :(

Aunt Cheryl says "Hi." Hi Aunt Cheryl... :-)
To: Ramius
I think she's snoozing by now. Me, I'm catching up on the local paper. So much *happens* while I'm away! It seemed like when I lived here nothing much at all happened.

To: Fedora
If you cannot find it, let me know when you'll be in Seattle and I'll take you to it. :-)
To: Ramius
I think you ignored me the other day when I asked you if you were gonna take me for a ride in the Mustang you've got while I visit. *pout*
At least you'd have someone *appreciative* to show off for. :-)

If you cannot find it, let me know when you'll be in Seattle and I'll take you to it. :-) The sacrifices you make! The world just doesn't appreciate you as it should. You are *such* a nice guy!

hehehe... Yah... it's just one of the many sacrifices I must make toward the greater good.
While of course, yes, I am concerned about storing up treasure in heaven instead of here on Earth.
But... The Lord didn't say anything about storing up beer in heaven. I think he intended for us to use it up down here while we got it. Besides, if there is beer in heaven, it pretty much has to be brewed there. Good unpasteurized beer doesn't age well.
To: Wneighbor
Well, I've said it now. :-)
To: Ramius
You should be hired by the local tourist board as beer guide for the city huh? Who else would be so qualified as you? Why, they just don't know what they're missin'. :-)
