The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Hi, Osage, no, no worms, I'm so busy struggling with art, I ain't making time for the ocean, or the Glades, got to soon, though.

I'm gonna look for my recent pastel drawing again, I know it's on this computer somewhere, so I can put it up.

How are you?

I've seen Destination: Moon, Project Moonbase, and the 1994 Puppet Masters; wouldn't mind seeing the first two again (agree George Pal was great and I love 50s SF movies in general), the third was so-so I thought. Haven't seen Red Planet--will have to find that.

A very nice painting, Bear.
I suppose it is of John Kerry?

Since it was for the '96 election I think it's of Bill Clinton.

The Orc song!! Loved it.

I liked the orc songs in the cartoon Hobbit, too :) "Down, down to Goblintown. . ."--I always thought that would make a good heavy-metal song :)

" I think it's of Bill Clinton."

Actually, a good likeness. Although, I think it looks even more like Hillary.

Just wanted you to know.

LOL... True to form you remain. :-)

Don't ever change, man... but I do gotta say I've never met anyone so mercilessly in need of a ______ as you are. :-) I mean that in a good way, really...

Unfortunately if the pic disappeared I think that means the link is broken, so even if I repost it I think it won't show up--apparently Yahoo posts tend to do that after a while. But if you Freepmail me I will be happy to send it to you, or otherwise I am in the process of trying to find some free webspace and I can ping you when I do.

Started out with disk 4. I love the beginning and the end of LoTR! In between, much walking, and a lot of drama and some fighting. ;~D

A good plan...

"The road goes ever on and on..."

And yes, there is lots and lots (and lots and lots and lots) of fighting...

Since LOTR made it big as the oscars yesterday, everyone seems to have an opinion.

The painting is from the cover of this book, which I'd highly recommend if you haven't read it and if you like SF or horror:

H.P. Lovecraft, The Dunwich Horror and Others
