The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I know you are supposed to bring the paper... but so many people just don't even show up that I'd think it more important to show up than to have the paper.
To go to this court do you have to go toward or away from work? You could always run by if it's on the way.

Courthouse is a half mile. Work is 15 miles. I might just run over there and get it before I go to bed. I still have laundry and stuff to finish up. If I'm tired after, I'll just go without it. Thanks, i did want another input on it.

I think I'd just go without it. Unless you can't sleep or something. I think they can deal with it.

Have you gone to see The Passion of Christ? I highly recommend it! Myranda was taking my mom and dad tonight. We were praying that it would get through - especially to my dad.

I think my lawyer and G's lawyer have got a deal worked out. Might be over soon. might be by Houmoot. Which reminds me. I'll have the tickets mailed to you and 2J, since I still haven't seen my friend. I'll get her to put them in the mail tomorrow.
Wish you could be there too.

PJ on E!
Says he wants to do LOTR all over again.

Okay, I'll look for the tickets. Wish I could be there too. Are you okay with the deal?

Answering "The Hobbit" question
Talk is about distribution problems, not on a lack of desire to do it.
He said he would want to make it part of the Trilogy with Ian McKellan etc so it felt the same.
To: HairOfTheDog
Wouldn't that be awsome? Even if unlikely..
I'm going to bed now... I think.. never know for sure with me. Gotta get up and call the plumber in the morning though.

Yes, D and I went on Wednesday night. The 630 was sold out so we went to the 930. Had a real hard time going to sleep after. We stayed awake talking about it for a few hours.

Apparently New LIne does own the movie rights, but not the distribution rights. Lots of lawyers will have to be paid, but that is not undoable.

Night, I'm going too, finish up laundry and then to bed.
Peter Jackson is the man. he really earned this all.

You and I were opposite then. I felt so much peace that I came home and napped for about 3 hours! 2J said she did the same thing. Just slept. Soundly!

I would think there was spare change lying around from LOTR that could pay those lawyers! :-)

He said he would want to make it part of the Trilogy with Ian McKellan etc so it felt the same.I was sorta hoping he had a "skunk works" Hobbit project secretly going on for all the years they were making LOTR. But I guess not. I hope all the roadblocks vanish quickly.
And if PJ wants to redo LOTR again, all he has to do is fill in all the stuff left out, like Tom Bombadil and the Scouring, etc. I can dig a 48-hour epic, and would pay the $$$ for direct-to-DVD sales, since it would be rough to show in a theater.
Please let me know when the video clip of Moore getting squished is available. Although I could think of worse endings for that POS than squishing.
