If Music Had No Value
If music had no value
We wouldnt jump up and down at our first concert
If music had no value
We wouldnt walk down the street with a tune in our heads
If music had no value
We wouldnt tap our toes with the rhythm
If music had no value
We wouldnt have tears in our eyes when the piano played
If music had no value
We wouldnt dream of singing until we lost our voices
If this wondrous thing never existed, if we never knew what notes were, or a melody, or how smoothly a guitar chord melds with a drum beat
how would we be inspired? To be a part of something greater, all you have to do is slide a CD or record into the player and close your eyes (unless you are driving, in which case Id say that would be a very bad idea). There are so many choices available to us now; all of the genres have started losing their definitions. A song is created every second.
Think about it
if there was no music. How much would be lost? How many emotions, experiences, and strands of memory would never be recorded? How many tears would remain unshed? How many smiles would never surface when the perfect song is heard?

Howdy Sam!!
Wow you have the joint jumping with Grandpa Jones and I do adore Dolly!
The Music poem is right on target!
Thanks so much Sam!! Coffee and Donuts are great as usual. Poor radu has not been around to scarf up the crumbs for a bit now. Getting kinda crummy in here! LOL
