In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

If I had known that my "snow delay" as I am now calling it was going to be this long, I would have done laundry and it would be done by now :-(

I can imagine your crew doing so. I hope mine doesn't as there is an in-service day on Wednesday, so no school, and early dismissal both Friday and next monday and another in service day next Tuesday.
I would really like a little quality time with me, myself, and I........

xs said something nice about me homeschooling? Gosh - privately she accuses me of not having the brain power! lol
Thanks - I love doing it - and I think all homeschooling families worry that they aren't covering EVERYTHING, but usually we do just fine.......
I've seen a vast improvement in my son's understanding of math - he's an excellent reader, loves history, can spell better than the daughter who is a senior, but math is his "hurdle".........
He's also my lunch date quite often, so it works out well for both of us!
Ok - back to sorting things in preparation for showing the house......see y'all when I come up for air!
