"Sherman's comments at his news conference blamed everybody but himself."
Sherman took over a pathetic team in 2000 and has gone 9-7, 12-4, 12-4 and 10-6. They have only to get over the hump, not start over again. Sherman has never gotten the credit he deserves. (In this regard, the Eagles and Packers have a lot in common in that both coaches are former GB coaches and both were able to recover from disastrous Ray Rhodes tenures.)
Sherman made some lousy decisions (not least of all was throwing the ball on 1st down in the OT, when Green could have run it up the middle for the next 5 mins and into the Eagles endzone), but your defense should successfully defend a 4th-26 100 out of 100 times.

I understand what you say. My point is that a "coach" must rise above the ordinary and let it all hang out. Sherman did not have nor does he have that type of personality or
coaching style. While he is there we poor Packers Fans will see 12-4 and 11-5 and never a Super Bowl.
When Favre retires prepare yourself for 2-10.
(Hopefully the "2" are the Bears.)
