the league is NOT dominated by defense... more teams have set franchise scoring records in the last five years than any other five-year period since the merger.
it's easy to say now that stewart, collins, warner, and dilfer are bad QBs, but take a look at their numbers from those seasons... or better yet, talk to the defenses they scorched. bad QBs don't win NFC title games 41-0.
just like all we hear about is how pass-happy the league is, yet rushing records are getting broken or threatened every season. jamal lewis, priest holmes, very recently terrell davis, marshall faulk, edgerrin james...
donovan mcnabb is a very good qb with the potential to be a great qb, and above all he's a winner. apologies to the 50-60% of participants here who can't deal with the fact that he's black. it was rush's fight that rush picked. mcnabb didn't start it and wanted no part of it. so get over it.
BWAHAAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh man you're rich. Number one defense in the league goes to the SB to face the number one offense in the league. Number 1 defense in the league WON hands down. After dispatching the miserable Viking in a 41-0 romp (which included 3 TDs from parts of the team not the offense BTW) the Giants went on to face the number one defense in the league and... that's right got their butts handed to them on a plater.
The league is pass whacky, and you should be thankful. Passing on two run downs in the 3rd quarter cost GB the game last week.
Donovan McNabb is a pretty good QB that scrambles well and will not be a great QB. I don't give a damn what color he is, very good QBs don't average 1 TD a game and .75 INTs a game.
