One shouldn't let team loyalty blind you to greatness. I hate the Niners but loved watching Jerry Rice in that uniform. The Cowboys are my least favorite team in the league, but damn Emmitt Smith was something to behold (I'll even give props to Neon Dieon, a thuroughly obnoxious person who should be recognized as the greatest cover corner ever).

I'm a recovering Chicagoan myself with family from both sides of the UP line, so the NFC Norris is in my blood (we've got Lions fans, Packer fans and Bear fans, and we unite in our hatred of the Vikes). We're a hockey family as well as a football family, Number Four Bobby Orr's unfortunately short but amazing career happened during my formative year. I was taught, largely thanks to him I think, the difference between booing the uniform and the man and when which one is appropriate.

I was being facetious about the game being thrown. But how do you think Favre's papa felt about Brett handing a sack record to Strahan? That was one of the cheesiest and unprofessional things I've ever seen in football. Can't see Johhny U or Bart Starr doing that!
