The enemy has been pouring across the Driscoll bridge for years! At least since the early 80's. The irony is, all those City Democrats who abandoned the City for a better life, are now in New Jersey voting for democrats. (They don't even know that they are the problem). Jersey use to be a bell-weather state, it is now solidly in the blue column as a result of liberal flight from NYC to the North, and to a lesser extent, Philly in the South.

Unfortunately, you are correct. I'm fortunate that my family moved to Monmouth County back in the 70's when it was still mostly a summer area. It has since exploded with year round residents but, thankfully, they are, for the most part, conservative. However, you can witness the southward creep of the socialist entitlement mentality as the years have gone by.

I'm in Wall Township, grew up in Brielle. My wife has relatives in Freehold, nice town but, it has seen better days.

Freehold sure has seen some better days. It is currently occupied by about 3,000 Mexican foreign nationals!

I have many relatives still there, my parents use to run a small coffee shop in town. (It is no longer there).
