Yeah, they won it on a fluke goal, but sometimes you have to be lucky to be good. A hearty congratulations to a great group of American kids who finally broke through for gold at this showcase tournament. Although this win is not on the scale of the "Miracle on Ice", it should nevertheless be seen as a watershed moment for the U.S. hockey program. It certainly is a great lead-in for next year's tournament, which will be held in North Dakota.
Way to go, boys!
