cleaning has become an adventure.

LOL I hear ya. My cleaning gal will be here today and I'm sure she's in for a few surprises. I think I've found most of the out of place toys, but I always seem to miss a few.

I only got 6 hrs of sleep last night,, which is an hour short for me. I've had a series of really bad cramps recently. Doc says it's related to my nerve damage. First it was left calf,, it took a week of pampering to get over the gimpyness. I was no more back in stride than I had it hit the right calf.

Now I awaken with a twinge in the arch of a foot,, getting up and walking on it helps to ward off the full fledged stuff. There will be no chance for a nap today, but Sat. and Sun. look very promising. Next week I have a couple of meetings and the following week I go back to the weekly roadtrips.

Oh Mozie. I know you must be feeling doubly terrible with the Pvt. leaving this morning. I'm so sorry this is all piling on you.

Have yourself a good cry. I am one of those people who believe in the renewing benefits of a good cry. Crying relieves stress and helps you gather it up and move on.

Of course, I'm not sure how the cry will interfer with your breathing problems... you would know better than I on that technicality.

Brit Humes's Political Chatter that was discussed last night is on right now.

I cried as soon as he was out the door.....but it made me cough & stuff so I FORCED myself to quit.:)

At least this time I know we'll see him in a few weeks (graduation.)

I'll be fine. Lost of time to rest today & tomorrow. Sunday is a different story but I hope to be feeling at least somewhat better by then. If not I will contact the appropriate people at the different churches and have them find subs for me.

I have been following the stories re: British airway flights being cancelled. Can't help wondering what it is they suspect or KNOW about what may be going on/planned.......

God bless your son! He will continue to be in my prayers!

Cuddle in and stay warm and cozy. Hope you feel better soon.

My apologies for my rather vulgar comment last night (courtesy of Monty PPython), but I am so disgusted with those "perfect" conservative types that I lose my cool once in a while.

We are babysitting again today, so I won't be here much until evening.

I am headed off to work, and then I have a drill weekend, so if I can't use dial-up, I'll see everybody Sunday night. Everyone take care, and have a good weekend.

I'm sure I've missed you. But I wanted to tell you about an article I read in a state newspaper last week about a woman who lost her manufacturing job, and has begun a "Personal Chef" venture.

Creating a kitchen to pass inspection was out of her reach, so she goes into people's homes and cooks for them there in order to bypass the need for inspection. She cooks a week's worth of food and freezes it for them. It was a facinating article about turning Lemons into Lemonade.

Her customers gave her rave reviews.

IG, how're you feeling these days??

Bob Bartley, recently deceased, was the long-time WSJ opinion page editor. He was very influential in his work, for example, supporting supply-side economics, and in his training of young writers. His career at the Journal was 30 + years.

It's starting to *S*.

The only good thing about it is I don't have to worry about driving in any of it today.

Farting in their general direction is a good thing.

Poor Freddie finally got his wish granted and was given the heave ho on New Years Eve.

Here were Jim Robinson's comments after showing Fred the door:

He was obviously very unhappy here. Martyrdom usually saves these poor depressed ex-FReepers. Gives them a whole new purpose in life.

Thanks for that explaination of Bob Bartley.... I wasn't familiar with him.... thought you might be speaking of an old boy friend! ;~)

I'm still battling sinus. I hesitate to go to the Dr again,, every time you walk in the door there you are exposed to the Creeping Crud. The prescription nasal spray has helped to reduce the pressure on my eyes, but I still have a head full of congestion.

I have another week of R & R, interupted by an occasional meeting, before thing get crazy.

No *s* here,, but it's foggy. 30 degrees here. Wondering if the fog will freeze onto the trees as it occasionally does. It creates a wonderful picture when that happens.

LOL! An old boyfriend!

I hope the R & R helps. How about wearing a facemask to the dr's? :-)

I'm having trouble believing it's national election year again already, and wow!, how busy you're going to be.

Have to take husband to airport soon, so may not be able to post links as early as usual....

Hi Molly.

Happy to see you made it back safe and sound.

The time has passed rather quickly so I need to get back into my regular sleep cycle.

how busy you're going to be.

Yes. Life will get crazy, again. I focus most of my time on State Legislative races in my part of the state, so it won't be like those poor souls who travel the entire state. It could be worse.
