One of our kitty friends (abner) has a new kitten. Until notified otherwise, the name of the kitten is Trouble. Links on recent threads contain plenty of adorable pictures, so this week we feature this new addition of the abner family.
OK, let us have some fun with these pictures.
Silent Night? ---- Not when Trouble is awake.

Dixie, I laughed really hard when you sent that to me. I've skipped wrapping anything so far. LOL!

I decided against the Christmas tree this year. Too much "Trouble"!
I will be putting up my nativity though.

Haha...cute...not like my cousin's cat. His cat actually ripped down their wallpaper and cut their telephone wires. Later they got a guinie pig and the two never stopped attacking each other. Ferocious things, they are...

I already love Trouble. The photos are awesome and I can't pick a favorite.
Merry Christmas!

I haven't been allowed a Christmas tree for about six years. I almost tried again this year. Maybe next year. If it at all resembles a tree, my girls are on it. Whether it's hanging, bolted or weighted, they shred it.

I'm sorry. That is so sad. I would put mine up anyway but all of my ornaments are glass. I don't dare. Next year. The bigger kitties like sitting under the tree with the warm lights.

AAAAAAAAAWW!! Trouble is adorable!! The captions are purr-fect for each pic, too. LOL!!
And thanks, PetroniDE, for posting the link to EuroFrog's advice on gift wrapping for those owned by cats. Whew!! Do I know the whole scenario all too well with this "herd"!! LOL!!
*sigh*....It's been years since we could have a tree in this house. All our decorations have to hang WELL out of paw reach.

What happens when you have:
1) nothing to do
2) a sharp knife
3) a large lime
4) a patient cat
5) too much tequila
6) and it's football season?
To: SelmaLee
I have had several in my tenure that think the Christmas tree is their personal climbing apperatus. Its hard to fish a cat out of the tree.
I love seeing one curled up on the tree skirt pretending to be a present though.
The cat I have now considers the tree base her watering hole. If I dont leave an opening for her to get her head in there she will do whatever it takes to make one.

Wow - looks like Trouble is a double for my new boy The Colonel. A crazed beast for sure, but so cuuuutttte!

We brought our Gray Ghost Fidget home last night as a test to see how she would do at home over Christmas. She failed.
We got home and she turned into evil kitty and we had to isolate her from the kittens for the night. She loves to ride in the car and became her wonderful self again this morning. As much as I hate her being alone over Christmas, she will be happier here at the office.
She never even got a glimpse of Trouble and I think that is better.

I had a fun two weeks while the rest of my tribe adjusted to the Colonel - total uproar. My big boy Elvis took it the hardest - he was all bent out of shape. Everybody's back to normal now, thank goodness.
