LONDON (AP) -- Are there ghostly goings-on at Henry VIII's palace, or is that hazy image of a fellow in fancy robes just a bit of Christmas cheer?
Closed-circuit security cameras at Hampton Court Palace, the huge Tudor castle outside London, seem to have snagged an ethereal visitor. Could it be a ghost?

Must be real, 'cause we all know it's impossible to fake something like that with Photoshop. [sacrasm off]

I'm not sayiing that I believe in ghosts, but that does look like Henry VII (as seen in paintings). It could have been photoshopped, and my guess is that it was.

I'm not sayiing that I believe in ghosts, but that does look like Henry VII (as seen in paintings). It doesn't look like much of anything to me. It's a person who seems to be wearing a robe. But beyond that it's too blurry to tell.

This has happened before. There was a famous video of a ghost crossing a room. You can even hear it if you turn your sound up on the computer. You have to watch for a few seconds, and if you look closely, you can see it. Here's a link:

Why would a ghost need to open the door?
Just a thought.

Henry VII:
Henry VIII:
Actually, the long robe is more typical of the time of Henry VII than it is of Henry VIII. But of course he was never at Hampton Court, which was largely built (actually reconstructed) by Cardinal Wolsey and then snatched by Henry VIII. If Henry VII were haunting anyplace, it would be Richmond Palace . . . or what's left of it.
