The Dow is at 10,200 today. The economy, already growing steadily for a year and a half, is beginning to boom. The socialist Democratic Party is in complete panic mode. Saddam Hussein is in prison and a new Iraq that will radically change the Middle East and make the US far more safe, is beginning. Arab tyrants are miserable and seeing their tyrannies begin to wobble. OBL hasn't made a peep since Dec. 2001, despite doing so every week of the Clinton years. Taxes have been cut 3 times and Americans are keeping more of their money with the promise of more to come. The federal judiciary is slowly being remade with conservative Bush appointees and is one more GOP congressional elections rout away from being radically changed from the Supreme Court down. China, among others, is less-threatening to the US than it has ever been before and is being pushed constantly towards greater freedoms for its people, meaning great economic growth for our partners in Asia and for our markets as well. Polls are showing (and the NYTimes is even admitting) that American churches are experiencing a massive regeneration, helped greatly by the precedent set by the most outspokenly Christian President ever (yet a man who tolerates and encourages charitable religious practice across the board).
Thank you, GWB, for being a man who will go down as one of the greatest Presidents ever.
Bush will win in a landslide in a few months, to the paleos' and Hillary's great dismay.
And to think... just a few months ago, the Buchanan Brigades at FR were telling us we were all going to die. Geez, I didn't think they could ever look any stupider than their predictions for NAFTA... but man, they proved me wrong. Losers.

That the world as we know it would come to an end on account of a bunch of computer clocks flipping over to a round number. Yikes.

Did I hear someone say DOOM?

You kiss your mom with that mouth? : )

Bush will crush your team later this year. Who is "my team"? If you think I'm a paleo, you're sorely mistaken, though I am anything but a neo.
Actually, I fully plan on voting for Bush next year, provided he does not sign the Assault Weapons Ban extension. Anything else you'd like to assume?

I assume your dumb ass pinged me for a reason... The economy is doing better and thats a good thing. No one questions that. To label everyone on this board or even half as doom and gloom just shows stupidity on your part. You are looking beyond the mark. Just because someone has a complaint doesn't mean they were hoping for a downturn or bashing the President. I don't agree with everyone on this board and they likewise. I certainly don't think you have anything noteworthy to say to anyone other than "We're all doomed!" That is not a noteworthy comment you f.n moron. It just shows that you are not putting thought into anyone else's posts or positions. Now for what I post on... China, among others, is less-threatening to the US than it has ever been before and is being pushed constantly towards greater freedoms for its people, meaning great economic growth for our partners in Asia and for our markets as well. How do you think that happens? Just by good nature? Kapoof! Its just there... Some of us who actually think, can see through and encourage and in some cases protest the things we don't like. You under the guise of defending the President say all the rest are bashing him. The President himself has undertaken some of the same positions taken here on FR by the people you bash on. We don't want to bend over a table every time China wants something. We want fair and equitable trade. That doesn't happen by itelf. Hence people come on this board and complain about it. Its not that they are bashing anyone, but rather thinking about the nation. I am sick of your condesending loud mouth... take me off of your ping list asshole. Boo hoo hoo. You were wrong on everything. Get over it. You lost.

Nope. That's all I needed to know. You're on the winning team. Congrats.

Weren't they in on the Y2K scaremongering too? Now those were the stupidest predictions of all. That the world as we know it would come to an end on account of a bunch of computer clocks flipping over to a round number. Yikes. The fringe right is no different than the fringe left. They aren't conservative whatsoever. It's a good thing that the GOP has run them and their leader, Pat Buchanan, off. That's why they just sit around and try to tell everyone at places like FR that we are all doomed. Seriously... a few months ago on here, we were all going to die really soon.

Haha. A CNN.com article? Hilarious.
We're all doomed, Laz. It's funny how much you hate Bush and complain about his Presidency.

I don't hate Bush. I am disappointed about some aspects of his presidency and heartened by others.
Gee, for a so-called stock trader, you sure have a hard time seeing shades of grey and fractions. I guess either all your stocks are worth One Dollar, or they are worth Nothing.
After all, there's no middle ground in your world.

I've tried to explain this to you: I don't hate W. I can't hate an empty figurehead like him, anymore than I would take a personal dislike to a scarecrow. He's no more in charge of matters than my dead grandmother. Only you naive types who're still smarting from the years of scumbag Clinton would think those strings attached to his limbs and jaw don't exist.
To: Texas_Dawg
Laz isn't a Yankee, Mr. Dawg. He's an postate, though.

You know that the DJIA in no way mirrors the economy.

You're a troll and a lying weasel, Texas_Fraud. But you knew that.
You may safely be ignored.

You know that the DJIA in no way mirrors the economy. Stupidity such as this is a good example of why you need the federal government to protect you from competition. Most incompetent people do.
