Friends
A little Springer Spaniel,
Who follows him around.
Speaks volumes of his nature,
No better judge is found.
When dogs like you, youre someone,
Not just an empty suit.
The love you give a faithful dog,
Will always bear you fruit.
If you like dogs that says a lot,
About the soul you bear.
But when the loves a two way street,
The partnership is fair.
The bond is strong and touching,
Between this man and friend.
God Bless George Bush and Spotty,
To them this poem I send.

I like #22. A dog that will watch you read truly loves you.

You wouldn't believe the threats I received in Email. Barney could run for President in 2008, he has a strong base.

I only wish the President had time to see it.
You never know. In most White Houses, the staff puts together a compendium or summary of the day's mail from the general public for the President. You might consider putting it in a letter and sending it snail mail. Might have a better shot at making it to the President's personal attention.

Oh, I believe it. Barney is young, cute, has a typical Terrier temperament, and is full of energy. Spotty, on the other hand, is old will be 15 soon. I saw her on the "Christmas at the White House" annual A&E special last week. Looks like at least one eye has cataracts. Perhaps because I have two German Wirehaired Pointers who were born the same year (1989) as Spotty, I adore her. I also am very touched by the deep bond between her and the President. I know when she passes, it will be hard on him. :-(

Whenever possible, wherever he goes, Spotty goes:

I've had many dogs, but the only ones I've ever loved the next morning had fur and four legs. You crack me up!

Speaking of black cats...here's India, the Laura and George Bush's shy cat.

Another reason why Barney gets all the press is because he and the President are so funny together. Like in that photo above of the President trying to salute while hanging onto Barney.

I have two cats and one dog. Cat's are good judges of character but they don't share the information like dogs do.

LOL! Maybe he'll run in '08. Would certainly make a better president than Madam Hillary.
