Well, in a way, it's certainly breaking hard all over the nation. And FR did scoop the entire Saddam capture story over the rest of the media.
...but you're right and I expect it will be moved.

DEMOCRATIC QUAGMIRE & HELLHOLE - 2004 At long last, an appropriate use of the word "quagmire."

Just listen to them talk and spin. The American people are so much above their muddy and filthy quagmire and can see the truth of what is happening internationally.. and it's going to be evident in the elections IMHO.

G.Mason posted it as ..."This hideout is a hell hole...Democratic Underground."
I wanted to emphazise the broader implications. Dean and Kerry inparticular are pathetic and just don't know how to handle the obvious good news.
When good news for our nation and our fighting forces is such obvious bad news to these slime buckets...its clear that their candidacy and election would be bad news for the country. More and more people are realizing this, even amongst their own, and that spells POLITICAL QUAGMIRE, as well it should.

hehehe...but all over the country people are getting a chance to see what a quagmire the Democratic candidates represent. All of that flatulence they call their political position...particularly regarding this war and their attacks on how it has been carrried out...is being blown away by the wind of stark reality.

Thanks for the ping.

Sure seems to me that the way the news has been managed from the outset of this great victory has all the earmarks of a highly sophisticated intelligence operation. Some very smart people have given a lot of thought to what news and images should be released and have calculated what kind of effect these news and images should have. In the political arena this is called spin and in the military arena it's called psyops. In any case, the two coinicide to some degree here and it's all for the benefit of the good guys (both militarily and politically) so I say Kudos.
To: Jeff Head
I dare say that almost every soldier that was ever deployed in this action would say that any personal sacrifice that they made on behalf of this effort would be worth it. That includes those who gave it all.
I hope that the Iraqis will someday prove themselves worthy of the American and coalition blood that was shed on their soil on their behalf.

I hope that the Iraqis will someday prove themselves worthy of the American and coalition blood that was shed on their soil on their behalf. ANd here's a 110% bonafied Amen to that. it is what it is all about.
If they do...if they are successfuly in stepping up to the plate and taking that sacrifice and making a truly constitionally based republic out of their country that recognizes and vouchsafes the unalienable rights of their citizens, opening the door to free speech, freedom of religion, self-defense, etc...and then defending it against the radicals around and amongst them...then the Middle East will be changed forever.
The resulting proseprity and peace will spread. That's the great hope. I believe many, many people in Iraq (the vast majority) want it...I believe their are tens of million in Iran who want the same. I pray this action will be the catalyst for seeing it happen.

Kudos indeed. They performed brilliantly in getting the guy and then they announced it in a brilliant manner, both there in Iraq, and here at home.

You're welcome. Just a little political humor for the day.

That was the same inference G.Mason used in the original post and it was great! I posted it this way to try and speak to the even broader implications because I think it applies to the entire DNC right now.
