I promise to torture them both with getting them fixed and all shots, otherwise, cats rule the roost and get lots of love.

Glad to hear you're a responsible kitty "slave". Many folks around here aren't and a lot of their unwanted kitties seem to find their way to our doorstep. This isn't even half of our "herd". LOL!

I wouldn't wish this on anyone....and I wouldn't part with any of these whacky critters. Yeah, I'm told I'm "certifiable". ROTFLOL!

You might want to consider going to a shelter once you reach Texas. You could save the lives of a couple of kitties whose only "crime" was being unwanted, unloved.

Are these critters spoiled? Only slightly. LOL!

Holy cow!! How many feline-Americans do you have????

I waited until my hubby was deployed to ask him for another cat (currently have one) and he asked that I wait until we moved back to the states (Feb)and I could have all the cats I wanted. I agreed.

Boy was that ever his big mistake!! First thing I did was promise our kids (2) that they could have 'their own' kitties. Im the kind that sees that person out in front of WalMart with a box full of them and brings them all home.

If I cant find a Freeper to adopt from I will certainly go to the closest shelter and adopt several of them. I have a soft spot for shelter cats so theres no telling how many of them I will come home with.

Im a firm believer in fixing my critters and letting them have the general run of the house. My basic rules are no kitties on counter when Im cooking and no kitties on the table when we are eating. They are welcome to sleep wherever they want, come and go (inside/outside) as they please, and attack the dog whenever they feel its necessary. As a matter of principle I dont really condone attacking the dog but a sleeping dog is a great place for a favorite cat toy.
