I have some explaining to do people. There was no kitty thread last week. I was sick with the flu most of last week so decided to give the kitty thread the week off. Sorry about the mix-up last week.

The big news over the weekend was obvious. Saddam Hussein has been captured. Time to rejoice and celebrate for the moment. While there are other facets of the war on terror yet to complete (location of WMD and OBL among them) the capture of Saddam represents a big milestone victory for the “coalition of the willing”.

Regarding the interrogation of Saddam Hussein, our cats have a few ideas.

Remember Noriega? We’ll play Barry Manilow songs until you start talking

I need help from you fellow cat lovers. I am in the process of PCSing back to the states from Germany. Will be leaving here February 13th.

Since we will be buying a house (in Texas) I have promised both of my children kittens (no kids picking up kitties rule seriesly enforced in my house). Anyway, my daughter wants an orange one. My son has not chosen a particular color.

I will be traveling on I10 from Benson, then the I20 to Albuquerque, then I40 to Knoxville at the end of Feb/beginnning of Mar (lots of family to visit) and if any of you think you might be having kittens by then I would love to adopt from a fellow freeper.

I promise to torture them both with getting them fixed and all shots, otherwise, cats rule the roost and get lots of love.

I'm glad you're feeling better! I haven't gotten the full flu yet; the bug just keeps doing a "drive by" at me. Just sick enough feel it, not sick enough to stay home from work. Bummer.
