What are you talking about? I said hi. I even just pinged you to a fun parody thread. Or did I miss something in the thread? That may be it. I'm really just working off the "my comments" section of my FR View. I'm sending out business holiday cards to my chamber members while I freep.

I just looked for him in forum. He is on another thread. He can't see the 'my comments' section while in a thread forum.

Oh, I guess He'll see later that I'm starting to see things the way he does about the death penality. I think he's mad because I don't agree with him. but I'm beginning to.

I haven't read the thread yet. I will. But never assume. Message forums can be very deceiving since you can't see how a person is acting, hear their voice, know a personality.

And if he is mad at you, I will send him to the liberal media reading room!

I just skimmed the thread. I am going to take the assumption that Meekie left the thread and may have left his desk. I can't imagine Meekie being mad at you for that. You are reading into the thread.

Death Penalty is a touchy subject because we are compassionate people. When we look at death, we feel. It is just though because of the horrible things that some criminals do. But since you don't live like that, those horrors don't come to your mind first.

That is a knee jerk reaction.

No one here says you have to feel the same or we will be mad at you.

Now I am leaving the computer to pick up my children from school. I don't think you need to worry about Meekie. He knows when you think of death, the horrible crimes don't come to mind first. Cause he knows you don't live like that.

That is great!!! I didn't know Andy Rooney was that smart. Has he always showed that much savvy or has he just seen the light?

There are things that you can't say without being accused of racism. I wonder why no one teaches the meaning of illegal?

My in-laws came from Italy in the early 1900's. They were forced to learn the English language. No special teachers, no special fund for the immigrant children.

They did not go on strike, refuse to work for a day, keep their kids out of school for a day and refuse to buy anything for a day. All of this was in response to the overturn of Davis' signing into law that illegals were entitled to a legal driver's license. Pure stupidity!!!
