Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Yeah, Eastern Europe. Our church has a relationship with a couple of churches over there. I think they may also tour some in Vienna. Our MFA Pastor (Music and Fine Arts) is real into turning these into learning opportunities for the choir as well as ministry opportunities.
We have a HUGH dramatic ministry. Choir usually does a New York trip every summer.

We were old enough to ignore what our parents wanted. Plus we paid for it ourselves.

Well ecurbh is supposed to ask the father. :)

I looked at your profile page - those kitties are cute! They aren't really appleheads, but both of them look like straight old-type Siamese. Is the one on the left the mix?
We haven't had a Seal since my parent's first Siamese back in the 60s, never a Choc, just Blues and Lilacs.

I know you're supposed to have a set number per number of guests. You are so southern.... I don't even know about these rules!
I thought it was dependent on how many friends you have. Course then.... I don't know who is left to attend if everyone you like is an attendant.

Hah, good excuse. I might just use that one myself!
I believe my parents' wedding was put together on a month's notice and on a budget of about $300 - they had to have money for gas to get to my father's school after the wedding, after all...

I was wearing the ring the whole time I looked for that... but isn't it supposed to go on the LEFT hand? I could swear you were wearing in on the right...
Dona woulda' said something. She's been looking for it.

Cool...I've always wanted to go to a hippie wedding. It's not a hippie wedding, its a beach wedding!

Gonna be odd sleeping without several critters trying to shove me out of the bed... Yours are small! - How much shoving can they do.... Gidget can take up the WHOLE bed, and the cat weighs 20 pounds.
You forget that kitties have CLAWS . . . ours insinuate themselves between us and push us apart. If nobody moves, out come the claws < ooch! ooch! > . . . you wake up with just one corner of the sheet, with three cats in the middle of the bed luxuriating in four pillows, a comforter, and a duvet . . .

You are so southern.... I don't even know about these rules! Well, yes I am. But I know these things because I am married to a G.R.I.T.S.
Then again, one of the reasons I picked my dwarf name instead of bein' a wizard was that I can't wear white after Labor Day...

It was on my left hand.... that little pearl ring Sonya gave me was on my right.

Where can I find that card?
Just right click on the image and pull up "properties", then copy the first part of the address. Take you straight to the website. There are a bunch of other cards too.

Hmmmm.....July 2nd is a blackout date for the FF tickets.

Other than my wife's dress and the tuxedos and dresses, we spent less than $1,000 for our wedding, including the reception.
'Course we never paid for the pictures...

Aren't you kinda glad now that that guy wrote to you?Yeah - I oughta thank him!
If you had been more intriguing, I never would have met my love!

I've posted some pictures...I'm nuthin' special...
Here's one with Bill and Margaret in it, too - I've posted this one before. Bill has contacts now and looks a lot different, but Margaret and I are about the same.
Bill is on the far left, then Jim, then me, then Margaret. This was at World Youth Day in Toronto...hence the matching backpacks and the flags.

It's not a hippie wedding, its a beach wedding! With a Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville-themed reception. Mmmm... boat drinks.

Rules, rules, rules... I think PE and msdrby had the right idea, just get a judge to do it!
On the other hand, my church is the ideal place for a wedding. Lovely wooden panels and stained glass windows and a pipe organ too...
Oh well, have to find someone to give me a ring before I need to worry about that.
