The Hobbit Hole V - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Well, I think a mid-country moot would be a great idea. We can moot at the g'nads.
Heh...let's do it this week...they're not there!
To: Overtaxed
Ooh...now there's a thought.
Dad is doing the worrying for the instrument transport part of this trip. That's the one part I'm NOT worried about, much! He called tonight to ask me what we were doing to prepare and what we'd do if we hadda check them and all that.
To: HairOfTheDog
Oh yeah... when we gonna tell your dad?

Meeting up with Suzi and Clare made me more excited than ever about Entmoot. And it's nice knowing that I'll at least know a few people already!

It was ackward at first, but soon were chatting like we do on the board..Pretty neat
Do make sure you meet in public place, though..You don't know...

But our attendants will be wearing shorts and sandals... Cool...I've always wanted to go to a hippie wedding.
Seriesly don't worry about the number of attendants. I know you're supposed to have a set number per number of guests. But just pick the people you want to be in your wedding and leave it at that. If it's two...great. Or, if like our case, it's 20, so be it. We had way too many attendants for the number of guests. But all of those people are (or at least were) vey significant in our lives. That's what mattered.
You can always tag a couple more guys to be ushers. They don't have to be matched with a bridesmaid.

Wait... she hasn't told your father she's getting married?
Whoo, boy.

Attendants... scary... when my parents got married, my dad's no-good brother was his best man, and my mom got stuck with a cousin she hated. This cousin had breast cancer and my grandmother said she had to be in the wedding because she was going to die. And the chick showed up stoned, not dressed for the wedding, with a marijuana necklace.
My mother says the worst thing is, the cousin didn't even have the grace to die.

We just kinda forgot at Christmas! I was wearing the ring the whole time, but even Dona didn't notice I don't think. And Dad... he and I put that barbecue together, close up looking at each other's hands.... he didn't notice. Course I have worn that ring a lot before, but not on my left hand...

You could always call the airlines and ask. I ended up checking all my whistles in my suitcase. Think I'll try to carry them on this time....depending on how things pack.

We got Finny (Chalaht's Finn MacCoul of HyBrasil) from a local breeder with very nice typey Siamese. He is the great-uncle of our newest cat, Chalaht's Magnificat of HyBrasil (Nifi), who is even typier because she's a Lilac Point:
Our third Siamese isn't very photogenic - in fact she's camera shy. But we do have a pic of them all together, she's the one on the far left. (They are all testing their new laser weapons for the annihilation of dogs.)
Shelley-the-Dog says, "Nyah, nyah, I get to run on the beach, and you don't! Silly cats!"
Cats say, "Meeeeyyooooowwrrr! Hisssssssssssssss!"

Yea, a midwest Entmoot will be great! Maybe this coming Summer/Fall?
St.Louis sounds good to me!
